Classic Pernambuco Graf Von Faber-Castell 0.7mm Mechanical Pencil

A spin-off from Graf's signature Perfect Pencil, here is the equally elegant fluted Pernambuco 0.7mm mechanical pencil, first released in 1993 and now a 40 year old vintage. Brazil’s eponymous red toned heartwood, hence its alternate name Brazilwood, is a highly valued material since the Renaissance, specifically used in the music industry for making bows for cellos and other string instruments. It possesses a dense and tight structure which will over time and use, accentuate the wood’s naturally high-shine finish into a deep patina. The trims have been platinum plated, another subtle but considered finish.
